Classification is based on the clubs participation in
European Cups the last 5 years. In this time each team
receives 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. From
1999 these points count for half in the preliminary
round
(1 point for a win and
half a point for the draw). 1 bonus point is given to
the teams that reaches the quarter-finals, semi-finals,
and the finals. Whoever reaches the Champions League
Group is given 1 bonus point. Each club's points are
maintained with the team's number which represents the
country in every period.
